Tonny and Annie Calderwood's 1925 - 1972 diaries have been transcribed from with the generous support of Ken and Shaunagh Robbins, a project conceived by former Indian Point resident Elizabeth MacLean in 2002 and finished at the end of 2005. The diaries total approximately 2008 pages, and over a million words. Each diary took approximately 20 hours to transcribe and proofread.

No diaries have been found for the years 1926 through 1931, although we are hopeful they will show up in some dark corner one of these days in Tonny's Shop. Although the 1962 diary exists, there is nothing written in it. The diaries are available for download here in PDF format. The North Haven Historical Society has printed out copies for visitors to read while on North Haven. This project has had tremendous informational and historical input from the Historical Society members. Special thanks to Sam and Ellie Beverage.

By downloading documents from this site, you agree not to use any portion of these diaries without express written permission of Ken and Shaunagh Robbins (shaunaghr at aol.com). Thanks.

If you enjoy these diaries, please consider making a generous contribution to the North Haven Historical Society, P.O. Box 322, North Haven, Maine 04853.

Thanks for your enthusiasm and interest in the diaries.
