THE ISLAND PEOPLE
Created in 1975 by the Maine Public Broadcasting Network, this film features year round and seasonal residents of North Haven and Vinalhaven describing their communities.

A film documenting a North Haven Historical Society event showing the flight of Lloyd Roberts' scale model of the Lockheed Sirius 8 float plane that Ann Morrow Lindbergh and Charles Lindbergh flew from North Haven, Maine to Nanking, China in 1931.

MEMORIAL DAY 2020
Out of respect for community health during the COVID-19 pandemic, many people chose to stay home instead of attending Memorial Day ceremonies. On North Haven, filmmaker Jason Mann documented the island's honored Memorial Day tradition.

In partnership with the North Haven Historical Society, Leta Hallowell created an oral history project called We Belong Here: Stories of North Haven. In August 2018, Leta presented her project at Waterman's Community Center on North Haven with a compilation of images and audio, available here.
